This past Sunday was one of those moments when the Spirit’s presence was unmistakable. I was deeply moved by Joe Gray’s leadership, which stood as a powerful witness to the work of the Holy Spirit among us. Tricia Green’s Children’s Message touched my heart—she beautifully illustrated how Christ’s teaching invites us to abide in Him so that we might bear fruit. Just like the wind moves unseen but with great power, God’s invisible grace is always at work, shaping our lives in ways we may not always recognize, but always need.
It was also the Sunday Sue Shineman shared with you the news of my upcoming move. I want to thank you for receiving it with such grace and tenderness. Scott and I will be moving in June to begin a new season of ministry and to live closer to our family. This transition is filled with both joy and sorrow—as we look ahead, we are also holding close the memories and relationships built here.
We still have a precious time together. I will be working through the end June, but after June 14, remotely.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out, ask questions, or simply share a moment. This is a time to walk together, reflect, and prepare—with hope—for what God has next.
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me.” — John 15:4
With love and gratitude,
Pastor Lydia
