Dear Friends in Christ, Over the past several weeks, I have been so blessed with the opportunity to sit with many of you in small gatherings. These times of getting to know you have been a true gift, and I am eternally grateful. Listening to your stories, your hopes, and your love for this congregation has given me a deeper understanding of the “DNA” of our church—the values we hold dear, the ways we live out our faith, and the unique spirit that makes this community so special. I am also thankful for the ways you have welcomed back former pastors in celebration of our 190th anniversary. It's beautiful witness to the faithfulness of God throughout the generations. Their presence reminds us that ministry is never the work of one person alone, but of a whole community faithfully responding to God’s call across time. I am excited to welcome Rev. Mitch Jarvis back this weekend as our guest preacher. As we honor the rich history of our church, we also look ahead with hope. God has been at work here for 190 years, and I believe God is continuing to shape us for the future. Thank you for sharing your stories, your wisdom, and your love for this church with me. Together, we will continue to live into the legacy of faith and courage that has brought us this far. Many blessings, Pastor Angie |
