Dear Friends in Christ,

One of the things I love most about being part of the United Methodist Church is that we don't exist in a vacuum. We are a connectional church—linked by shared mission, prayer, and partnership with congregations and ministries across our State and around the world. When we serve, worship, and give, we multiply Jesus' love beyond what any one congregation could do on its own.

This beautiful connection is on display in so many ways, and recently it was highlighted through one of our own: Robert Bond! As we read about Robert and the countless others across our connection, may we be inspired to keep living out our calling together. We are part of something bigger than ourselves, and God is using that “something bigger” to bring hope, healing, and transformation to the world.

Ministry is an amazing and humbling adventure, and I'm grateful to be on it with you!
